Kin Games

The Kinesiology Games, known to students as ‘Kin Games’, is the annual gathering of Canadian Kinesiology and Human Kinetics undergraduate students at one host University. The students in attendance are the leaders of tomorrow in a wide array of disciplines and professions. Since 2001, first hosted at the University of Toronto, Kin Games has been successively growing in reputation and popularity each and every year. Kin Games has rapidly become the largest student-run Kinesiology conference in Canada. The event occurs in mid-March for students to compete against one another in physical and academic activities as well as attend a kinesiology employment & grad school showcase. The friendly competitions result in a winning team taking home the coveted ‘Shoe Trophy’ – an honour given to the team best exemplifying athleticism, academics, sportsmanship, and school spirit over the course of the weekend.

Students attending the event will experience a life long memorable weekend in which they will obtain integrated learning, develop professional connections, and make new best friends. Participants will be immersed in an environment that promotes an inclusive community of shared pride for Kinesiology and active health. This two-day event is sure to be the highlight of your undergraduate career and will be an unforgettable experience.
