Opening:
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 1:30pm by Riley in the BPK Conference Room. Minimum quorum of 4 executive members reached.

Open Issues:
1) Approval of Previous Minutes
- Ben motioned to approve the meeting minutes of 2019-02-06. Jaskarn seconded. Minutes approved unanimously
2) 10 second videos
- We could ask 326 lab and do a quick taping video ourselves and send them in
3) Trivia Night
- Friday March 8th at 5:30pm
- Club Ilia is booked…need to start advertising.
- Posters (Emily B) – we still need to print them, $10 budget
- Facebook Contest, Event Page (Katie)
- Contest – ask them for what they would want to see at the event and have them tag a friend to enter the contest
- Grant is submitted
- Need to organize the details of the event:
- Themes – Pop Culture, Sports, Secret (BPK/Australia)
- We need to start making questions for it
- We’ll make a Google Doc so everyone can contribute questions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z2r_tq6SGrz18oA7lJ3Kq3bXOw5feau9RLBuErqypcw/edit
- Prizes – free appetizer for them and a friend
- Ideas to fill time between rounds, 3 rounds total so we need 3 games
- Last year – cookie face, rock paper scissors and high-low card game
- A lot of people liked the cookie face
- We could do a word search or crossword instead of high-low
- Assign roles for the event
- We need people to make sure they’re not using phones for answers
- Also need someone to keep track of what’s on our tab
- Will need a couple people to host the event
4) SUS Winter Formal
- they asked us if we wanted to contribute some money to the event
5) Kin Cup
- Friday, March 29th 5:30-8pm in East Gym (Club Ilia after)
- Gym and Equipment is booked, along with Club Ilia for the social after
- Don’t want to overwhelm people with events, but we will need an event page to start advertising soon.
- Grant:
- Gym and equipment rental: $220 for both
6) Clothing
- Reminder about being at the tables this week
- We can have another order session on Friday to make up for the snow day, reserved a table in the AQ
7) BPK Research Day
- April 5th, all-day event
- We’ll post updates if anything new comes up
8) Mock MCAT Day
- Caitin from Princeton Review has asked us to advertise their Mock MCAT Day at SFU Burnaby. The Link to the Facebook event page is: https://www.facebook.com/events/2227011060887289/
9) YEP: Wednesday April 3rd at 6:30pm
- We will discuss in more detail after Kin Cup
- Club Ilia is looking like the better option
- Arlo will mention it at the BNSS meeting and see if there’s interest
- We might do DAC if there’s more people interested in the event
- Tickets – we talked about doing online ticket sales too with in-person sales
- We might be able to rent a table to advertise in the AQ
- Also can advertise at the Coffee Break in the BPK student lounge on Thursdays

Motions:
Jaskarn motioned to submit a $220 SFSS grant for BPK Kin Cup. Ben seconded it. Motion was passed unanimously.
