The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 1:30pm by Crystal in the BPK Conference Room. Minimum quorum of 4 executive members reached.

Open Issues:
1) Approval of Previous Minutes
- Nicole motioned to approve the meeting minutes of 2019-01-16. Ben seconded. Minutes approved unanimously
2) Careers in BPK
- Tables for exhibitors are first-come-first-serve
- We’ll have student registration printed so we can check names off/add anyone who comes without registering.
- At registration booth, give the student a ticket to be used for dinner (we’ll draw prizes from the dinner ticket pile) and they’ll keep the other half
- Schedule
- 4:00-5:30 Exhibitors with a welcome speech
- 5:30-6:10 Breakout Session #1 (Occupational Therapy & Pedorthics)
- 6:10-7:00 Dinner
- 7:00-7:40 Breakout Session #2 (Physiotherapy & Medicine)
- 7:40-8:00 Prizes
- OT and PT is in TASC 1 9204
- Pedorthics and Medicine is in ASB 9896
3) BPK Microwave
- we have the microwave approved, we’re just going to get a lock to prevent someone from stealing it
4) Kin Cup
- preferred dates from faculty: end of March
- March 29th – 5:30-8pm Central East gym
- We’ll have an email sent out
- Basketball, soccer, and dodgeball
- We’ll motion a grant next week for this and we can reserve Club Ilia for after Kin Cup
5) Trivia Night
- March 8th – around 5:30pm
- We can figure out topic details at a later meeting
- We can have people pitch ideas for themes and maybe make it with a free appetizer/drink contest
- We also need to reserve a place to host the event – Club Ilia or the new pub (if it’s open)
6) BPK Research Day
- BPKSA to contributing $200
7) Woman of the Year
- SFSS award to promote women equality -> nominations are open for this award
8) Board of Governor’s Meeting
- 8am – Board of Governor’s meeting about the tuition at SFU, students can attend to show support
