Opening
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 12:40 on Friday, July 12, 2013 in AQ 5004 by Steven.

Open Issues
- BPK Orientation
- Steven will send out descriptions to Matt of tour locations(Strength & Conditioning, SFU Rec, Physio, Peer Health) for the program guide
- Matt brought a rough draft of the Orientation Passports, here is our feedback
- 1) Blow up table of contents
- 2) Bigger map (and or custom Orientation map? And or standard birds-eye-view map of sfu?)
- 3) Bigger table of contents
- 4) more organized “Blurb” area
- 5) We will keep stamp page and notes separate. Notes at the back, stamp page will just have a list of profs names
- 6) Matt will get class list directory and the faculty list
- Alyssa from peer health got back to Steven, the new peer health coaches have just been established so if the new coaches are willing to present for orientation then they will participate. We will know if they’re going to participate or not by next Friday July 19
- Sam from Rec has confirmed (want to do it in a classroom upstairs in Loren Davies Building)
- Steven will email Jon from Strength and Conditioning to confirm their participation
- Steven started the Powerpoint for Orientation (info session), has a rough draft of layout.
- BPK ORIENTATION TO DO LIST:
- Passport design
- Presentations for info night
- Confirmations
- Future events
- Due to cancellation of the last faculty meeting we did not get word out to faculty in time for a summer kin cup
- Instead we are planning on hosting a wings night like last year, potentially at the Burquitlam/Coquitlam WINGS location
- Tentative date for Wednesday July 24th
- We’ll contact Amanda Bigiolli for the name and number she contacted for WINGS last year as she contacted the manager last time with great success
- Once everything is confirmed Steven will make a facebook event
