Opening
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 12:35pm on Friday, July 19, 2013 in AQ 5004 by Steven.
In attendance
- Steven, Megan, Debbie, Matt, Andrea, Jason, Dora
Open Issues
- Science Frosh
- Sept 5th and 6th
- on the 6th there will be a “DSU Rendezvous” and the BPKSA is invited to set up a table. We will have:
- Star Mirror Chase set up
- laptops for BPK Orientation sign up
- the heart, brain and kidney stones on display
- BPK Orientation
- the three labs are the: Locomotion Lab, Molecular Cardiac Physiology Group and the Sensorimotor Neuroscience Lab
- Peer Health seems to be interested in presenting and will confirm with Steven by Monday night
- once they confirm with Steven he will let Megan know and she will finalize and publish the website
- Michelle is drawing up the WebSurvey and will send the email out with the link to it and to the website (when Megan publishes it)
- Steven is working on a Prezi for the Information Session
- Debbie will get the stickers for the passports (30 different kinds)
- Michelle will book SFSS conference rooms for now as lecture halls aren’t available until August
- Kin Games
- meeting 7pm Monday night at the Hyland Pub
- anyone interested should attend!
- Wings Nights
- Wed July 31st seems to be the best day
- need to decide if lunch or dinner is the better time
