-there is a Sports Medicine Physician who works in Victoria’s lab and was an MBB major and a BPK minor, Loryn can ask him

-Dave Clarke know’s a physiatrist that he could ask to come speak, Matt is unsure if they are an SFU grad

-Sabrina confirmed that Midori Hanford who is a practicing PT at Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Centre near UBC can speak and she is still waiting to hear back from the PT students

-for lab tours: Injury Prevention and Mobility Lab (Megan and Sam can ask) or the Sensorimotor Neuroscience Lab (Shaila will be able to run the tour) or the Cardiovascular Physiology Lab (Loryn will ask)

-for the front page of the booklet we all like the stock photo of the skeleton with the ECG and heart

-For external exhibitors we would like to invite: College of Massage Therapy, International Studies Abroad, Naturopathic Medicine, Innovative Fitness, Kintec, BCAK

-For external exhibitors we already have four confirmed: Palmer College of Chiropractic, University of Medicine & Health Sciences, University of Western State, Ross University School of Medicine

-Last year for internal exhibitors we had: Ergo, Grad Program, Physio, Rec and Career Services and we would like to have them all return this year

2) Recruitment

-since a lot of us are graduating this year we need to start recruiting more, will make an extra effort to do so in the Spring

-could create a clip of all of our events to show them what we plan

-maybe we can advertise where all of our past BPKSA students have ended up (Med, PT etc)

3) Social

-we were approved for a $200 grant, BNSS got a $100 grant, we will contribute $50 from core and they will contribute $25 from core so we have a total of $375

-there was a miscommunication with pricing with The Hive, it will only be $20 per person not $25

-this means the first 25 people to arrive will get to climb for only $5!

-The Hive has a policy for Movember that if guys show up with a moustache they get to climb for half price

4) Clothing

-the clothing is in!

-Megan will pick it up tomorrow

-AQ tables are all booked until the beginning of December

-Loryn will ask Matt if we can use the Grad student lounge to distribute clothes sometime next week and will also talk to Laurie to see if she can book us a room in the AQ

5) SUS Updates

-Molecules and Moustaches is being moved to next semester because they couldn’t get the necessary documents, will likely be scheduled for January

-Winter Formal is also being moved to next semester, will possibly be the Friday before Reading Break in February
