Opening:
The meeting of the BPKSA was called to order at 1:00pm by Megan in the BPK Graduate Students Lounge.

Open Issues:
1) Kin Cup
-Central Gym East Side booked for Friday March 3rd from 5:30-9:30pm
-No soccer nets
-Heard back from Tony, hockey nets will work for soccer
-Sports will be handball, dodgeball, indoor soccer
-Switch basketball for handball – more inclusive and inviting for everyone
-Equipment needed:
-2 nerf mini football for handball – ask what they use for Res Challenge
-30 balls for dodgeballs (will order both foam and rubber)
-2 hockey nets for soccer
-Footsal and soccer balls
-Cost $281.25 to book gym
-*Note: get someone who works for rec to book gym in the future because they get employee discount
-Pay for KinCup fees from core account, not applying for grant
-Erin from KinGames will be at KinCup to collect sports equipment
-Advertise in classroom presentations, include Year End Party – email will be sent out with more information including what to say, posters to show, etc.
2) Year End Party
-Diamond Alumni Center booked for Tuesday April 4th 5:30pm
-Need grant
-$500 to book, includes tables, chairs, setup, etc.
-$15/ticket
-Supplement approximately $5/person
-$100 for bartender – cash bar
-$70-100 for AV equipment rental – TV with picture slideshow
-Printing fees for posters and tickets
-Brian will check if BPKSA has a printing fund
-Expecting approximately 100 people

3) Spring Clothing Sale
-Will order clothing from Select Performance (located in Port Moody)
-American Apparel sweater
-American Apparel dri-fit shirts
-Heart t-shirt, no lungs or brain
-New unisex Champion sweatpants with pockets in charcoal grey
-Still designing sweatpants – possibly small logo on front by pocket
-Collecting forms and money Monday February 27th to Wednesday March 1st by couches outside BPK office
-Strict deadline Wednesday 12:30pm
-Members who regularly attend meetings will be eligible for discount on clothing
4) Trivia Night
-Wednesday March 15th 6:00pm

5) Palmer College Presentation
-Bill Riley will be presenting “Chiropractic: The Best Kept Secret in Healthcare and Physical Medicine”

6) Princeton Review Upcoming Events
-MCAT sample class Tuesday February 28th from 6:30-8:00pm in AQ 4150
-Free MCAT practice Saturday March 4th from 9:00-4:30pm in AQ 3154
Motions:
Erina motioned to apply for a grant of up to $1400 grant from SFSS for the Year End Party. Omid seconded it. Motion was passed unanimously.
Crystal motioned to contribute up to $200 from core account to support the Year End Party. Brandon seconded it. Motion was passed unanimously.
Brian motioned to reimburse BPK Co-op up to $400 for a portion of the ASB rental fee and parking fees for Careers in BPK 2017 event from core account. Arash seconded it. Motion was passed unanimously.
